LCCSC offers dinghy rental: Lido 14, Hobie 1-14, JY 15, Escape 9, 13 and keelboat rental: Sonar 24.

LCCSC Dinghy Rental Program 

Sailors may choose to rent hourly or purchase a rental pass. Rental passes work much like ski passes: as long as the Center is open and staffed and boats are not being used by classes you may come and sail. If it looks like others are waiting, there is a 2 hour limit otherwise you are free to stay on the water until approximately 30 minutes before closing time. Note that keelboats are available for hourly rentals only.

If a sailor has not taken lessons through LCCSC, they will be required to take a Basic Sailing Rental Test (written). While the test is not takenon a black and white pass/fail basis, LCCSC may require that the sailor takes a one hour mini-refresher lesson before renting. 

All renters are subject to the rules and boundaries of LCCSC which include wearing a PFD at all times while on the dock and on the water. Minimum age to act as skipper of a rental boat is 8. There is no minimum age to be a passenger however every sailor on the boat must sign a waiver attesting to that fact that they are able to swim a minimum of 50 yards and tread water for 5 minutes. 

The rates for dinghy rental are as follows: 

Hourly Rental: Weekdays: $29 1 Hour Rental; $47 2 Hour Rental
                        Weekends: $35 1 Hour Rental; $67 2 Hour Rental

DEPOSIT REQUIRED FOR ALL RENTERS: A $50 damage deposit is required of all renters before sailing. It will be returned when the boat is returned in the same condition it left. Cash, check or credit card imprints are acceptable and will be kept secure.

LCCSC Keelboat Rental Program 

LCCSC has three Sonars available to rent. If a sailor has not taken lessons through LCCSC, they will be required to take a Basic Sailing Rental Test (written). LCCSC Kayak Rental

LCCSC offers kayak rental to benefit the Adaptive Watersports Program. You may choose from either of 2 single or 2 double wide-mouth kayaks. We provide lifejackets and paddles. Paddlers are required to stay within our specified boundaries (explained at site) and file a float plan.
