| So I am sitting here at the Club Vacances

| | feet. It was quite a nice mountain to ski

| -15 to -20 degrees Celsius, windchill

| | on, but the top was covered in fog the

| | 1770 feet. Actually we enjoyed Owl's Head

| Vermont border. There are several fairly

| | better than Orford and on Tuesdays and

| large lakes in the area: Lake

| | Wednesdays they offer incredible deals:

| Memphremagog being the largest, there is
| |
| | $15 (Canadian!) for a whole day of
|
| Lake Magog and there is also Lake
| |
| | skiing, apparently the best value for
|
| Massawippi.

| | skiing in Eastern North America.

| We had a pretty nice dinner Saturday

| | No skiing today though. It is simply too
|
| night at a local restaurant in Magog

| | darn cold. The wind is howling and snow
|
| called Jacko's. Sunday we took a nice
| |
| | occasionally blows horizontally across
|
| drive around to places like North Hatley

| | the landscape. I had romantic notions of
|
| (a picturesque pioneer village),

| | driving into Montreal today, but the cold
|
| Lennoxville and we took a quick drive
| |
| | weather would have ruined such an outing.
